There was a chapter I did not see coming.

Divorce. A failed relationship. A quiet house. Friendships that faded. A faith I had to find my way back to.

I did not collapse. But I had to get honest with myself in ways I had avoided for years. That kind of honest is uncomfortable. It is also where everything changes.

I am 51, living in Lyons, Colorado, where the mountains are out my back door and the trails are how I think. I have spent 25 years leading people through change. I am a father, a man still growing in his faith, and someone who believes our hardest seasons are not the end of the story. They are the beginning of the one that actually matters.

I started Rise and Thrive for the man in the middle of this. Maybe life looks fine on the outside but something feels off within. Maybe it all fell apart and he is figuring out what comes next. Maybe he just knows he is capable of more and is tired of waiting to prove it.

I have been all three of those men.
